If I Won the Lottery... (Part 2)

Planning Your Structured Lotto Payments

I am kicking myself today for not buying that lottery ticket I wrote about last week. I just found out that the Florida lottery has grown to over $200,000. If I had bought that ticket like I said I would, I know exactly what I would do with the money. I would choose to sell my lottery payments in a partial sale and use about 15% of my winnings to pay off my student loan, and my various other bills that I have accumulated. I would then use the remains to be disbursed over the next few years to supplement my living expenses while I work low-paying jobs that would eventually lead to a higher paying career after spending a few years of paying my dues. After my payments have ceased, I will have a good job with plenty of experience and accumulated credibility. I wonder if I still have time to get a ticket.
